As of tonight, Patrol 6 has completed the Cub Scout program. We have journeyed together and grown together these last five years. Not everyone that started with us is here today to cross the bridge into our next journey.  It is my hope that all of these boys will continue to grow into the young men that I know they can be. I hope that they will continue on the Eagle trail and that the skills and values that they learn will stay with them forever, whether they reach that final goal or not.

Boys - as you move on to the next phase, remember the powerful magic of "Yagoddawanna".  In order to accomplish anything, whether it is small or big, easy or difficult, trivial or of utmost importance, in order to be successful, you've got to want to do it. To earn good grades, you gotta wanna earn them. To become an Eagle Scout, ya godda wanna be one. The main reason people don't succeed at something is because they don't really want it bad enough. By really wanting something, you come up with ideas, make plans, and then do it.
